The RCD is supporting the National Access Awareness Week in Canada, by offering “an exposition of self-employment and entrepreneur resources for people with invisible illness and people living with a wide range of disabilities” – 2018 Self Employment and Entrepreneurship Expo.

National Access Awareness Week is a time to look forward and ask “What can be done to ensure the integration and inclusion of persons with disabilities in Canadian society.”


WHY - to empower entrepreneurs with disabilities in accessing reliable unbiased information and trusted support by bringing entrepreneurs together with educational and financial resources and support, all in one convenient time and place

WHEN - June 19, 2018, 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

WHERE - Richmond Cultural Centre – Performance Hall and Atrium (7700 Minoru Gate, Richmond, BC   V6Y 1R9)

WHO - Free Admission, everyone is welcome, especially people with disabilities who are or interested in self-employment and entrepreneurship

We are gathering an amazing list of support agencies and financial resource “Mentors”, and many of them returned from last year. The purpose is to bring these “Mentors” together with “Peer Example Businesses” to provide a full circle informational learning experience. It is an extremely rare opportunity to “access” all this information at one convenient time and place.
