The Services

There are eight CASS work-stations available. You need to register as a first time user. Afterward, all you have to do is sign in on our logbook with your name, computer number (all computers is labelled with numbers 1 to 8) time in and time out. All computers in the CASS area are equipped with Internet access,so feel free to browse the Internet following the guideline from our ‘Acceptable Use Policy’.  If you do not want to use the computer, there are newspapers located in the table in the centre of the room.

Also, CASS is equipped with 3 power tables in case you need a lower / higher counter space to access your wheelchair. You are welcome to search for information online, check your E-mails and login to your social networking web pages such as Twitter or Facebook.  MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint are installed on all of the workstations. Feel free to work on your documents while visiting the CASS. Moreover you can access the online career guidance and planning tool Career Cruising to improve employability and obtain labour market information.

We limit printing to 5 pages per user; for more than 5 pages there will be surcharge of 25 cents per page.
Assistive technology / software such as JAWS, Dragon Speak, Zoom Text are also available upon request. The CASS Team is available to assist you in using these software. In order to server you better, we appreciate you call in advance to book with a CASS team member for using these special AT software.
