The Richmond Centre for Disability (RCD) provides direct services to persons with disabilities. Our existence is made possible by the generous support of people like you.

Every year, RCD serves on average 30,000 people with disabilities, provides over 50,000 service hours and offers 1,200 skills training classes and over 350 recreational activity sessions. We have a specialized summer camp for children with special needs, several peer support groups such as Chinese Support Group, Filipino Parents Group and Mom’s Club. It is our goal to expand our services and participant base through reaching a broader cross section of the society.

RCD Special Request - 2024 RCD fundraising initiatives are particularly important to us. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we urgently need to relocate our center temporarily to ensure the continued delivery of our essential programs and services, by May 31, 2024. This interim relocation is vital to avoid any interruption in the support we provide to our participants, who rely on us for a wide range of services, including information and referral, skills development, peer support, and community engagement. We welcome any support made for our fundraising campaign, either by making donations, supporting our Fundraising Concert (date to be determined) or purchase our fundraising products (T-shirt, art exhibits and/or ice-cream coupon). Your contribution, no matter the size, will be greatly appreciated and will help us reach our fundraising goal.

• Become a volunteer

We greatly appreciate the involvement and contribution of volunteers in many aspects of our Centre. There are opportunities to assist with Computer Classes, English Class, Social Club and Children Summer Camp. All these endeavours are made available because of your good work and dedication.
