The Richmond Centre for Disability (RCD) provides direct services to persons with disabilities. Our existence is made possible by the generous support of people like you.

Every year, RCD serves on average 34,000 people with disabilities, provides over 68,000 service hours and offers 600 skills training classes and over 400 recreational activity sessions. We have several peer support groups such as Chinese Support Group, Filipino Parents Group and Mom’s Club. It is our goal to expand our services and participant base through reaching a broader cross section of the society.

RCD 40th Anniversary in 2025 - the RCD was established in 1985 and its physical centre set up in 2000, with a purpose to provide direct support and assistance to persons with disabilities. 2025 will be a milstone for the RCD and is particularly meaningful to the organization and the people we serve, because with your support, we braced through many challenges and difficult circumstances, and working closely together to sustain positive impacts on the community. Our members are relying on us for a wide range of services, including information and referral, skills development, peer support, and community engagement. We continue to seek your generous contribution to support the works fo the RCD, and thank you in advance for your kind consideration. Your contribution, no matter the size, will be greatly appreciated and will help us reach our financial sustaibility.

Join RCD activities as a participant, or support the Centre by becoming a RCD affiliate. Registering as a participant or becoming an affiliate is easy and is vital in helping us continue to broaden our services.

PARTICIPANT - register and renew registration annually to join RCD’s activities. (Fee: $10 Life time)

PARTICIPANT RENEWAL - for returning participants from previous year(s). (Fee: $5/per year)

AFFILIATE - for anyone who is interested to support and be involved with the RCD. (Fee: $10 Life time)

 

You can also join RCD as a Voting Member if you have substantial concern for, competence in, and willingness to participate in the mission of RCD.

• Become a volunteer

We greatly appreciate the involvement and contribution of volunteers in many aspects of our Centre. There are opportunities to assist with Computer Classes, English Class, Social Club and Children Summer Camp. All these endeavours are made available because of your good work and dedication.
